POLICIES - Our policies were developed through our experience, to create a respectful environment for everyone.

Please note: All cell phones must be powered off (as opposed to turned off or set to buzz, vibrate or airplane mode) before entering the space, if your voucher is on your phone, you can access it after your session. Your cell phone will cause problems with our electrical and many of our clients and practitioners have strong and painful reactions to the electromagnetic static coming from wireless devices.

POLICIES - Our policies were developed through our experience, to create a respectful environment for everyone.

1. Late policy, if you are more than five minutes late for your first appointment, we will have to reschedule your appointment for a later date.

2. No shows - For Groupon on Living Social Clients - your voucher will be forfeited for no show appointments. For all other clients, the cost for a no-show is the same price and the session you have booked. If Groupon has a different policy, then they have changed the details of our contract without our permission; our policies will be honoured for our time and in our space.

3. Cancellation/Refund policy individual sessions and packages: Cancellation of individual sessions is 24 hours in advance, if you haven't cancelled within that time frame, then you will be charged as though you attended your service. No REFUNDS will be issued for packages purchased at discounted rates, however, sessions can be gifted out up to 1 year of purchase date. NO EXCEPTIONS

Cancellation for Yoga Classes or Workshops: if you have purchased a yoga package or a seat in a Yoga Workshop, you can cancel up to 10 days prior to the start date with a full refund. Cancellation for workshops: Empath Series: If you need to miss or cancel a workshop that is not a pre-requisite; workshops 1 and 2, you can make them up in other workshops over a 1 year term. If you need to need to miss a prerequisite, you can make them up and the workshops that follow for up to 1 year. If you need to cancel the full series, you have up to 1 year to either attend all workshops or use the amount you paid towards other services. Cancellation For Yoga Instructor Training

A $500.00 Non-Refundable Deposit is Due on with Your Application
Full payment is due 21 days before the date of course commencement.
If you are registering early to receive the discounted early bird rate, full payment is due on that early registration date.
To obtain a 200-hour Training Certificate and letter of completion, you must attend 100% of the training and participate in all classes, successfully complete the homework assignments, quizzes, and exams. You also must comply with all Yoga Alliance Requirements.
All requests to leave class early will be handled on a case by case basis, please speak with your instructor during breaks or before class.
Once all the requirements of the Sukha Shack Yoga Instructor Training are met: class hours, homework, quizzes and final exams (written and practical), You will receive a letter of completion that can be submitted to The Canadian and/or International Yoga Alliance or a prospective employer as evidence that you have completed the 200 Hour Training Program.
Sukha Shack Yoga Instructor Training reserves the right to ask you to leave the program without refund if my behaviour is inappropriate, unethical or violates the Yoga Alliance Ethical Guidelines.
If you cancel your enrollment within 21 days of commencement of training, that your deposit can be forwarded to a future training to be taken within 1 year of cancellation. If you have signed up for the early bird discount and thus paid a lower rate and in full and need to cancel, the full amount will be forwarded to another training to be taken within 1 year of cancellation. If you paid the full amount and need to cancel within 21 days of commencement of training, then the deposit, if paid separately, will be forwarded to a future training and the remaining will be refunded to you within 1 month of cancellation.
If you miss more that 3 weekends of classes, you will need to retake the training and will be offered a discounted rate depending on how much of the course you have attended successfully.
If you are on a payment plan and miss a scheduled payment, you will not be allowed to attend the training until payment has been received.
Sukha Shack Yoga Instructor Training Materials are under copyright protection and cannot be reproduced by me without written permission from the author, failure to comply may result in legal action.

4. Scent Free Space - Please do not wear perfume or other body sprays to your appointment as we have people who have serious allergies to colognes and perfumes. We reserve the right to reschedule your appointment in the event that this happens. Some of our clients and our practitioners have serious allergies.

5. Drinking and Drug Use - We reserve the right to reschedule your appointment or refuse services to anyone that has been drinking or using medical marijuana or recreational drugs. This includes yoga classes, workshops and healing sessions. No exceptions

6. No Abuse Policy - we do not accept abusive communication or behavior from anyone - you will be asked to leave and all services will be discontinued. We define abuse as abusing our space, our time or any of our policies.

7. Sickness/Colds and Flu - Due to the severity of some airborne diseases, we ask that if you are ill from the flu/colds or anything that could be contagious, please contact us to reschedule your appointment, we will do our best to get you in as soon as possible when you are feeling better.

8. Groupon/Living Social Vouchers - we no longer do business with Groupon or Living Social; however, we will honour vouchers that were sold previously. The amount you paid towards the voucher will be put towards a regular priced, identical service + GST

9. GST will be collected for all products and services

10. No cell phones - Due to sensitivity to electromagnetic static and the way they affect electrical equipment, please power your cell phone off before entering our space, we promise you will find a good connection here.

11. Package and Gift Certificate Expiry Dates: all packages purchased, have a 1 year from date of purchase expiry date. Refunds will not be issued for packages at discounted rates, however you may gift out remaining sessions to be redeemed up to 1 year from date of purchase. No exceptions. Gift Certificates do not expire.
